Technically, no, you do not need a partner. You can be a 100% shareholder of a company and hire a local director with our nominee director services.  However, if you are based overseas, you will need to hire a registered filing agent to submit your application on your behalf.

Yes! There are no restrictions around foreign ownership when setting up your company in Singapore.

Yes – every company is required to appoint a company secretary within 6 months of incorporation. If you appoint us as your company secretary, we will incorporate your company for free. 

Technically, the minimum amount of paid-up capital to incorporate in Singapore is S$1.  However, if you are seeking an EP or other work visas, we recommend investing a minimum of S$50,000. Our immigration partners can help support with your application.

Absolutely. If you would like to relocate to Singapore to operate your new business, you will need to apply for an Employment Pass. We can also assist in your Employment Pass application.

It is a reasonably straightforward process to open a bank account.  However, Singapore’s local banks do require at least two signatories to be present. Our yearly fee excludes the following activities that we can assist you with on an ad-hoc basic:

  • Share Capital Transactions: $100 per transaction per individual shareholder for ordinary shares; $200 per transaction for preference shares/convertible notes
  • Strike-off: S$500
  • Other ACRA filing fees and penalties

Resident director
